The ʻōhiʻa tree is the foundational tree of Hawaii. It grows in most of the Hawaiian ecosystems, and is the primary species to grow after lava forms new land. Dry forest, mesic forest, Wet forest, Montane forest.
How to grow
Plant in well drained soil or spaghnum moss.
Lightly dust the seeds onto the media.
Do not let the media dry out.
Keep in filtered light, at 60-90 degrees fahrenheit.
When seedlings are germinated and growing, plant them into well drained soil.
