Shipping Policy
Processing & Fulfillment
Orders are processed and shipped twice monthly, around the 15th and 30th of each month. You will receive an email confirmation with tracking information as soon as your order ships.
Shipping Method
All orders are shipped via USPS First Class Mail.
Shipping Restrictions
ʻŌhiʻa seeds can only be shipped to Hawaii Island addresses due to agricultural regulations. Orders containing ʻōhiʻa placed with non-Hawaii Island shipping addresses will be cancelled and refunded.
Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and package weight.
Delivery Timeframes
Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout and begin after order processing. Please note that shipping times are estimates and may be affected by carrier delays or weather conditions.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking number via email. You can use this number to monitor your shipment's progress on the USPS website.
Issues with Your Shipment
If your order hasn't arrived within the expected timeframe, please first check your tracking number for updates. For lost, damaged, or missing shipments, contact us at hisb@akakaforests.org within 7 days of the expected delivery date, and we'll work with the carrier to resolve the issue.
Return Policy
No Returns on Opened Packages
Due to the nature of our products, we cannot accept returns on opened seed packets.
Order Issues
If there is a problem with your order such as receiving the wrong item, damaged seeds, or missing products, please contact us at hisb@akakaforests.org within 7 days of delivery. We'll work with you to resolve the issue promptly.
